Rustic Strawberry Tart

Ingredients
1 box refrigerated pie crust, softened
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 1/4 cups coarsely chopped strawberries
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Steps
1. Heat oven to 450 F
2. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray or line with parchment paper
3. Unroll piecrust on cookie sheet
4. In a bowl mix 2 Tbsp. sugar and cornstarch
5. Stir in 3 cups of strawberries
6. Spoon into center of crust
7. Fold crust over filling, pleating
8. Brush edge of crust with water
9. Sprinkle with 1 tsp. sugar
10. Bake 15-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown
11. Beat whipping cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form
12. Mash remaining strawberries and fold into whipped cream
13. Serve tart with whipped cream.
