Red Velvet Crispy Treats

Ingredients
6 tablespoons butter
1 10 oz. bag marshmallows
1 teaspoon vanilla
2/3 cup dry red velvet cake mix
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
6 cups crispy rice cereal
3 oz. white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon shortening
Steps
1. Spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick cooking spray
2. In a large saucepan, melt butter.
3. Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
4. Add vanilla extract.
5. Add red velvet cake mix and cocoa powder and stir until well combined.
6. Add cereal to marshmallow mixture and stir until coated with the marshmallow mixture.
7. Using a spatula coated with nonstick cooking spray, scrape the mixture into prepared pan and press into pan.
8. Allow to sit at room temperature until cool.
9. Melt white chocolate chips and shortening in double boiler until smooth.
10. Drizzle over the top of crispy treats.
11. Cut and serve. Store in airtight container.
