Beef and Rice Skillet

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup rice
3 cups beef stock
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
black pepper
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup frozen peas
Steps
1. Cook ground beef and drain
2. Add rice, beef stock, soy sauce, garlic powder and pepper
3. Bring to a boil
4. Reduce to a simmer
5. Cook, covered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
6. Stir in carrots
7. Cook 5-10 minutes more, stirring occasionally
8. Add peas and cook through
